About The Point

Located in Northern Colorado along the Front Range, The Point offers two locations in Greeley, and with additional clinics in Denver and Fort Collins. We have been serving northern Colorado since 1990 by providing therapy to injured clients and getting them back to the activities they enjoy and a healthier lifestyle.

As mentioned above, our clinics offer the most current and comprehensive treatment and therapy techniques in each of the areas listed below. We tailor each program to meet your specific needs.

Physical Therapy: Physical therapists apply research and proven techniques to prevent and improve a health condition that limits the body’s ability to move and function. Treatment provided will help an individual to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and function. Treatment is provided in circumstances where movement and function are threatened by aging, injury, disease or environmental factors. Specializing in orthopedic injuries, our staff manages, and treats disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system including rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery. We are trained in the treatment of post-operative orthopedic procedures, fractures, acute sports injuries, arthritis, sprains, strains, back and neck pain, spinal conditions and joint replacements.

Occupational Therapy: Occupational therapy is a science-driven, evidence-based profession enabling people of all ages to engage in activities of daily living. Treatment includes developing a program to improve, sustain or restore independence to any person who has an injury illness or disability. Our Occupational therapist specializes in workers compensation injuries, hand and upper extremity injuries and treating patients back to pre injury abilities. All programs will be designed to meet the individual needs.

Athletic Training: Athletic Trainers are professionals who specialize in preventing, recognizing, managing and rehabilitating athletic-related illnesses and injuries that result from sports. As part of a complete health care team, the certified athletic trainer works with physicians, other health care professionals (such as physical therapists), coaches and parents.

Massage Therapy: Massage involves acting on and manipulating the body with pressure – structured, unstructured, stationary, or moving – tension, motion, or vibration, and is performed manually or with mechanical aids. Massage target tissues that may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, or organs of the gastrointestinal system.

Exercise Physiologists: Exercise Physiologists are specialists who study the function of the human body during various acute and chronic exercise conditions. These effects are significant during both short, high-intensity exercises, as well as with prolonged strenuous exercise such as done in endurance sports like marathons, ultra marathons, and road bicycle racing. Our Exercise Physiologist also assist clients at the conclusion of therapy by designing individual exercise programs both at home and at the Performance and Wellness Institute.

The Point Sport Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinics offer complete billing and pre-authorization services for both primary and secondary insurance. You can make an appointment yourself, or ask your physician for a referral.
